Strawberries grown in the field have started another growing season. The first young leaves are already visible. At this stage, it is worth taking care to increase the resistance of plants to drought and a number of fungal diseases. The most dangerous diseases in strawberry cultivation include: gray mold and Verticillium wilt. These diseases can reduce yields by up to 80%. We should also not forget about pathogens of the Fusarium genus, which can cause plants to wilt, browning of roots and crowns. Here, losses can reach up to 40%. One of the effective ways to increase the resistance of strawberries to the above threats is to use microbiological fertilizer products. The preparation proposed by our Company is approved for use in integrated production and organic production. It is also worth taking into account the fact that in 2025, a new element was introduced in the subsidy system. Under the “Biological Cultivation” scheme, farmers can receive support in the amount of EUR 22.47 per hectare for the use of microbiological fertilizer products. VITAFER TrichoPRO ® is a microbiological fertilizer designed to increase plant resistance to many fungal and bacterial diseases. Contains spores of Trichoderma asperellum, viride and reesei fungi in the amount of 2 x 10⁸ CFU/gram. The product is designed for soil and foliar spraying and for dressing seedlings and bulbs. It supports the development of the root system, increases the volume and reach of roots. Particularly recommended for crops in “tired” soils and in monoculture.
