On July 9, 2024, the “Wheat and Beet Field Day” took place at the Agricultural Farm of Kinga and Jarosław Tarnicki. In the event co-organized by the hosts – the Tarnicki family, VitaFer Sp. z o. o. from Tarczyn and the Kujawsko-Pomorski Agricultural Advisory Center in Minikowo, a group of farmers interested in a lecture on integrated production of sugar beet and winter wheat using microbiological fertilizer products took part. Microbiological fertilizer products and suspension foliar fertilizers produced by VitaFer were used in the cultivation. Participants had the opportunity to learn about innovative agronomy used on the farm. Mr. Jarosław showed the guests around the demonstration fields and talked interestingly about the details of growing both plants. It was possible to see the root system of sugar beet in a specially prepared open pit. Sugar beets sown on April 28, 2024 currently have a root system reaching 1.6 meters into the soil profile!
