VitaFer BioPATROL – biological protection against soil pests.
VitaFer BioPATROL is a microbiological preparation based on selected entomopathogenic fungi naturally occurring in the soil. The product supports plant protection against soil pests and promotes root system regeneration.
Mechanism of action of VitaFer BioPATROL
The preparation colonizes the root zone and affects insect larvae living in the soil, such as:
white grubs, wireworms, weevils, cabbage root fly larvae.
It supports the natural resistance of plants and can be part of integrated pest management (IPM), reducing the risk of pest resistance development.
Method of application
Recommended application: soil spraying before sowing or planting at a dose of 2 kg/ha.
It is also possible to apply: foliar application (with adequate soil moisture), root dipping of seedlings,
watering of transplants, application through fertigation.
